I help families recognize the difference between healthy curiosity, excitement, uncertainty, fear, and overstimulation.
Developmental exercises may include exposure to new surfaces, sounds, household activity, age-appropriate challenges, and unfamiliar environments.

We progress according to the puppy’s comfort and readiness.
The objective isn’t to create a puppy that never experiences uncertainty.
It’s to help develop a dog that can recover, learn, and look to its family for guidance.

Advanced puppy development builds upon the foundations of early puppy education.

We’re no longer concentrating exclusively on sit, down, come, and walking politely on a leash.

We’re developing the puppy’s ability to think, focus, regulate excitement, respond to communication, and remain connected with its family in everyday situations.

I work with families on building reliable responses through repetition, consistency, reinforcement, and gradually introduced distractions.

Skills may include focused walking, recall, place training, stay, release cues, and appropriate greetings.

Reliability develops through practice in different environments, not through unrealistic expectations or rushing the puppy.

And sometimes they make decisions that leave their families wondering whether they adopted a puppy or a four-legged demolition contractor.

It’s to help the puppy develop better responses.
Through practical exercises, I introduce patience, waiting, appropriate greetings, disengagement, and the ability to respond to family members around distractions.
