I’ve spent more than half my life helping families understand their dogs—and helping dogs understand their families.
After more than 30 years of training, I’ve learned that many puppy problems aren’t really puppy problems.
They’re communication problems.

Puppies don’t automatically know where to go to the bathroom, what they’re allowed to chew, how to walk on a leash, or why children’s fingers aren’t chew toys.
Those lessons must be taught.
Families also need to understand how puppies think, communicate, develop, and respond to their environment.
That’s why I don’t believe in cookie-cutter puppy training. I believe in educating the entire family, building puppy confidence, and creating good habits before frustration takes over.
