For more than three decades, I've dedicated my life to helping dogs and the families who love them understand one another.
My name is John Wasilishen, and I'm the owner, founder, and Master Trainer behind ProDogK9, NJ Puppy Whisperer, and NJ Dog Fences.
Since 1993, I've worked with thousands of dogs of every breed, temperament, age, and personality—from eight-week-old puppies taking their first steps into family life to adult dogs overcoming years of unwanted behaviors.
I've now spent more than half my life doing the work I love most. Helping families communicate with their dogs isn't simply my profession—it's been my life's passion and purpose.
What has kept me passionate all these years isn't simply teaching dogs to obey.
It's watching families experience the moment when communication finally clicks.
The moment a puppy begins to understand.
The moment a reactive dog chooses calm.
The moment a family realizes they're no longer frustrated—they're connected.
Those moments never get old.
Over the years, I've built my companies around one simple belief:

That's why I've never believed in one-size-fits-all training. Every lesson is personalized because every relationship between a dog and its family is unique.
After all these years, I still look forward to meeting the next puppy, the next family, and the next opportunity to make a lasting difference.
